The appearance of the title bar menu will be slightly different depending on whether you are an administrator or an evaluator.

If you are an administrator, you will see a house-shaped icon to the far left.

Evaluator Window/ Candidate Window

The Evaluation Menu is divided into two sections to help users navigate the evaluation process.

The Evaluator Window (Left)

The Candidate Window (Right)

After you select a specific date from the calendar, the candidates who have registered for that date will become visible in the Evaluator Window.

After you click on a specific candidate’s entry, their information will be displayed in the Candidate Window.

Evaluator Window Details

The Evaluator Window displays different tabs depending on what you are working on.

The four possible tabs that you might see while working in this section are.

The tabs are explained in more detail below.

My Schedule

If you are scheduled to interview on the selected date, the My Schedule tab will display your personalized schedule for that date.

It will include each candidate with whom you are supposed to meet along with the time of your interview and their evaluations status.

If a candidate’s evaluation is already in progress, that status will be denoted by a yellow pencil In Progress icon next to the candidate’s name in the Evaluator Window.

If a candidate’s evaluation has been completed, that status will be denoted by a green check mark Complete icon next to the candidate’s name in the Evaluator Window.

Candidates (A-Z)

The Candidates (A-Z) tab contains a list of all the candidates who have registered to interview on a particular date. To choose a different date, use the Date Selector (located at top right of the screen).

Click on any row with a name to view that person’s profile in the Candidate Window.

If a candidate’s evaluation is already in progress, that status will be denoted by a yellow In Progress icon next to the candidate’s name in the Evaluator Window.

If a candidate’s evaluation has been completed, that status will be denoted by a green Complete icon next to the candidate’s name in the Evaluator Window.

Evaluation

This tab will appear only if you click on a candidate with an evaluation that has been started but not yet completed.

Clicking on this tab will open up the list of questions an evaluator must answer in order to finish evaluating the candidate.

Questions that must be answered are marked by a red asterisk. After you have answered all the necessary questions, click on the green Complete button.

If you missed any mandatory questions, the form will highlight those questions in red and instruct you complete them.

If you navigate away from the Evaluation tab or log out of RezRATE, your progress will be saved and you can pick up where you left off.

Attention Needed

This tab will only appear if an evaluator was scheduled to evaluate a candidate on a particular day and was unable to do so before the end of that day. It is a reminder of what evaluations the user must still complete.

Additional Features Found Inside the Evaluator Window

When evaluators do not wish to complete their evaluations, two features they might consider using are the Do Not Rank button and the Unable to Evaluate button.

Do Not Rank

The use of this feature is reserved for candidates who fail to meet minimum expectations. Distinguishing a candidate with the “Do Not Rank” status will detrimentally affect them and serve as a red flag to fellow evaluators during rank meetings.

This distinction should not be used if the evaluator wishes to abstain from the evaluation process without adversely affecting the candidate’s ranking. Users might consider the “Unable to Evaluate Button” instead.

After you click the Do Not Rank button, a red dot will appear next to that candidate’s profile picture. The dot will contain a number reflecting the number of evaluators who have marked the candidate with this distinction.

Unable to Evaluate

If an evaluator wishes to abstain from an evaluation without adversely affecting that candidate’s ranking, this option should be considered instead of the the Do Not Rank button.

Beginning an Evaluation

Clicking on a candidate from any tab in the Evaluator Window section will cause their information to populate the Candidate Window.

Click the black Begin Evaluation button to begin the candidate’s evaluation. Doing so will open up the Evaluation tab inside the Evaluator Window on the left.

The Evaluation tab contains all the questions that must be answered in order to evaluate the candidate.

After it has been clicked, the Begin Evaluation button will change into a yellow Back button. Click that button to exit the evaluation and return to the tab you last used.

Continuing an Evaluation

If a candidate’s evaluation has already been started, that status will be denoted by the presence of the yellow “In Progress” icon.

Once a candidate’s evaluation is in progress, the black Begin Evaluation button in the Candidate Window will become the blue Continue Evaluation button.

Click the Continue Evaluation button to open the Evaluation tab on the left side and resume the candidate’s evaluation.

While an evaluation is in progress, you can click the yellow Back button to exit the evaluation and return to the tab you last used inside the Evaluation Window.

Modifying a Completed Evaluation

Once a candidate’s evaluation has been completed, that status will be denoted by the presence of a green “Complete” icon. The Begin Evaluation button will change to the black Modify Evaluation button.

If you wish to modify the answers that were previously provided to the questions in the Evaluation tab, click the Modify Evaluation button.

A window will pop up asking you to commit to your decision. It will warn you that choosing to modify an evaluation will change the candidate’s status from “Completed” to “In Progress.”

Click the Modify button to confirm your decision or the Cancel button if you no longer wish to modify the answers you provided in the Evaluation tab.
